Just added a new Guess Who image!
Had a nice couple of days off, fitted in some more Ni No Kuni - loving this game, I wish we had more like this.
Im totally stuck into Dead Space 3. It still has the tention from the last 2 games, despite what reviewers have said. I've heard normal is quite easy, but Hard gets rather tough, especially near the end!
My valentines day plans - Go to see the new Die Hard with two of my friends. Best plans if you ask me.
Just stuck a new Caption Contest image up if anyone is a tad bored
The reviews are being overly harsh on the film. It's more akin to Die Hard 4 than the others, which is quite a shame, but Bruce Willis delivers his lines perfectly with some great jokes throughout. Jai plays his sons role pretty well, and you actually feel like the characters are related. The plot has a small twist in it, which isn't entirely obvious. It is near enough non stop action, which although enjoyable, isn't really what Die Hard is about.
I feel with the age range lowered to a 12, they tried to make McClane seem more like a superhero, obviously going against his character. He gets beat about a bit, but nothing like the first or third film. The cinemaotogrophy is pretty poor, which isn't a surprise coming from the director.
Despite it's shortcomings though, it doesn't deserve the beating its getting in reviews. I enjoyed every minute of the film, never found any of it boring. My one complaint about the actual story is its abrupt ending, otherwise, I highly recommend it, it maybe one of the weaker links in the series, but its still a top notch action film!
Okay cheers for that, pretty much what I expected I guess. Some of the reviews I've read and heard today do seem overly harsh.
I've been playing Persona 4: The Golden for about a year or so now (on and off). Really good game as you'd expect. Maybe you should look into learning Japanese too Surreal if you like JRPGs so much ;)
Haha fair enough. I never had the patience for the PS2 one, but whilst in Japan I was able to just grind on the trains during my commute so it didn't bother me half as much. Really hoping the UK release of Arena isn't too far off as well.
I still have quite the backlog I just finished Hitman Blood Money for the first time and I've had that game for about 7 years.
also Store Update
I'll get the Bloody Palace mode for DmC but I still have Ni no Kuni Hitman Absoulution to play and then MGR:R and Persona 4 are coming on Friday. I NEED BERNARD'S WATCH.
Also guys don't forget "Future of PlayStation" tonight at 11pm.
Got my copy of Rising today! Only played 11 mins so far and I'm still trying to get fully used to the parry system, but it's still enjoyable. Already looking through to playing through again as Grey Fox haha.
