Can anybody give me tips on how to get my online ranking/grade up? I'm not a bad player but there are just not enough G3 tournaments for me to be able to move up, and when there is one there is hardly ever enough players for the result to matter.

Yeah G3's can be a bit tricky to find these days, you need to catch the server at a time when Europe and USA players are online.  About 20:00 - 00:00 GMT is a good time (not sure about after midnight as I am tucked up in bed by then ).  Once you get past G3 it's a lot easier to find tours filling.

You could also try asking G0s to help you fill G3 tours when there aren't G0 tours running. Most of them who are regulars are nice enough to help out if they are free. Of course don't expect people to help, but be optimistic about it.
