My daughter has Eyepet (not Move) and had been playing on it without issue until around Christmas 2010 when it just refused to do anything once loaded. she taps the card but none of her pets come out. We thought it was the lighting but being Christmas she had other things to do. Anyway, she tried it again on several occasions but no matter what we do the problem persists and the game just doesn't work anymore. We've adjusted the room lighting, backed up, deleted and reinstalled and restored the game but no difference. We managed to start the game from scratch but it failed again as soon as the pet had hatched.
Any suggestions? My daughter is absolutely gutted.
Yes, PS3 is fully up to date with firmware and all the Eyepet updates are applied. Yes, the camera is properly adjusted, and Yes, all lighting options from day light to spot lights and all manner of others have been tried. No, we don't have Move.
Cheers

Have you tried uninstalling the game and then starting the game again but this time NOT updating the Eyepet game. Maybe it is one of the updates that "forces" the game to only work with the Move Controller....
