1.07 is a terrible patch probably the worst yet, the game just gets slower and slower the longer you play it.  The more loads between areas and buildings it get to a point you have to reload the game because the frame rate ends up at 1 frame per 4 seconds.  This should  problem  should be easy to fix, its obviously a memory leak issue where previously loaded cells are not being flushed out of memory, what's up obsidian? Get it sorted, the patch is broke. Poor show.  Also for the other various bugs, which on the pc version has always had the luxury of the console.  It is a well known fact for bethesda type games having problems with characters disappearing into the game world mostly walking through the landscape to a point you cant reach them, why not enable the console function on err consoles, they can easily remove the god commands etc for cheating purposes or if you use it it disables trophies, but for fixing missions and ejected characters it is really needed because technically you can't complete the game properly and enjoy the experience the way the game was meant to be.  It's not rocket science.

just disable the internet connection and play offline, that is what i do, i don't trust thier patches, i was able to complete fallout new vegas without any patches, they are not needed.

i gave up playing New Vegas around March becuase it become too unplayable and all freezy and laggy. but i started it up last week again and its been more or less fine to play with all the recent patches.

think the patches affect players in different ways, some find they help their game, where others have found they dont help at all and make things alot worse. though id say it seems like the last patch has had more negative feedback than positive, which is a shame if its the final one.

hopefully the game won't be too bad for you with the recent patch, i know the frame rates can get really really bad but stick with the game, it's worth it.

I knew this would happen... Bethesda just rush the entire project, so they could move onto the next one! This is really close to "milking" the consumer and leaving an unfinished game to rust.

Shame on you Bethesda! Shame!!

They are realising a 'Ultimate Edition' soon, so they aren't quite over the game yet. But I will defend Obsidian as in my 2 playthroughs and 80 hours on the game I found little to no problems, ocassionaly I would walk in somewhere and people would be sitting/sleeping out of the bed or chair like they were leavitating, also yes towards the end of the game it does lag, but it's still a game worth playing.

I rented the game and patched it, I maybe had 7 total lockups in my first playthrough with hardcore enabled making it so far less problematic for me then FO3 was, still 0 lockups would be better.

I hope its not too bad as I havn't played it since the last update and it was ok then. So hopefully its not the worst patch yet.

Any word if they are working on another patch?  I plan on getting the Ultimate Edition when it comes out but I do not want to buy the game if it's still broken.

That would be a straight NO!

Once they stop supporting this game, they will stop. They now have Skyrim in their hands and it's making-money-time for them. They don't care about the support for this game anymore. In short: "Bye, Bye! See ya and thanks for the Money!"
