Ok here's my problem I got broken steal and have come to the part when you have to go into the giant mobile command crawler thingy. When I walked in I killed the two enclave soldiers but there is a forcefield I cannot get past. I have destroyed one of the blue things next to it and blasted the other one with the tesla cannon but the field stays open how do I get through?

It just says I can walk through but I cant

There is a box like a keypad on the wall. And you use that to turn off the force field. You need a High Science level though I think it was about 80. it said cant remember.

Was it below a blue thing? Ill check around and see if I can find anything

That thing you blew up, you are able to interact with it. It gives you the option to shut down the force field. (science skill) or smash it.

Well if I smashed it why can't I walk through the forcefield

i personally deactivated them with my high science skill with the keypads on the wall next to them.you either need to get your science skill up or when u use the keypad it gives you 3 options:

The first thing you come across is an Enclave Repulsion Field. Using the blue panel to the left, you can deactivate it (Science 80), set a timed charge (Explosives 50), or smash the control panel. Smashing the panel will cause an explosion (which will damage you), as will setting the charge (the difference being that you have time to escape). Either way, the field will still be partially active, and passing through it will cause damage. If deactivated with Science, the field will be harmless.

Next to the forcefield there is a destroyed keypad It must have been destroyed when I was killing the enclave soldiers but I cant go through the forcefield I didnt even see the keypad until after it was blown up

then im sorry but your game must be glitching. thats infomation i got off a fallout 3 wiki site. ok it might not be 100percent trustworthy but its a start. i hope you overcome your problem. you wasnt far finishing the DLC either.
