when i save my psd as a jpg it comes out with a white background see (see my avatar ) D;

can anybody fix this for me please ?

.jpg don't allow transparent backgrounds.  it needs to be a .png of .gif.

if you use photoshop, when you go to save  you can select the type to .png.

 

I can't quite make out what the avatar is though! :smileyhappy:

been meaning to try it out but with having photoshop haven't got round to it (plus I know it won't be as good - but it's free).  just didn't want to be confusing him if the option wasn't there in GIMP.
