HTML Codes - Signitures

Entering the URL link as a image/signiture

Once you have saved your image/signiture as a .JPEG or .GIF format, you will need to upload the image. This can be done at:

www.imageshack.us
www.tinypic.com
www.photobucket.com
And many more.

Now you have a URL link for your image/signiture, you will need to do the following:

My Profile > Personal Profile >Signiture

Enter the following information in the signiture box:

<img src="URL Link">

Saving these options now allows your uploaded image/signiture to appear beneath each post you make.

Different signiture commands:

You may now want to fiddle about with what you want the image/signiture too do, ie. Align Left, Align Right or Centered.

Aligned Left

As you have entered the image/signiture using the basic HTML code for entering the image ( <img src="URL Link"> ), the forum will put the image/signiture in a align left position as default.

Centered

For the image to be in a centeral position under each post, you will need to enter the following code into the signiture box again:

<center><img src="URL Link"></center>

Aligned Right

For the image/signiture to be in a aligned right position, you will need to enter the following code:

<p align="right"><img src="URL Link"></p>

Linking your image to a website

If you want your image to have a link, so when users click on it it takes them to a website of your choice, you will need to enter the following codes. For this example http://www.google.co.uk is going to be used:

<a href="http://www.google.com"><img border="0" src="URL Link"></a>

Additional Information

- 'img' stands for 'image'

- 'src' stands for 'source'

- 'a href' where the image/signiture is being linked too

- 'border="px" is the size border around the image/signiture. (Not including this may result in a default border around the image/signiture).
