Had nothing planned tonight, as I'm off on hols for a few days this weekend.
So, I took the time to try and see how the predster would look as a wallpaper.
If you can, vould somebody let me know if this displays ok on there PS3?
It seems to crop a bit on my tv, which is a tad annoying. I used the Warhawk wallpaper as a guide, so I'm hoping it doesn't crop too much on other peoples.
I'm kinda happy with how it looks. (it looks better on my tv screen than on here actually
(the AVP log was a pain in the arse for me to get the glow like that!!)
Anyway, feel free to use it if you like it. Or you can add things to it. Whatever.
I don't have any more time to add stuff that I wanted too, but anyway.

Pfffrt. It's not that good. I'd like to get more designy stuff in there, but the flashy design stuff isn't my strong point. You guys have done some great stuff on here with the sigs and things.
My style is a bit more traditional, old fashioned and sometimes a bit, well... boring
I'd love to see what other people would do with it if they had time to play.

(p.s. anyone tried this on thier ps3 yet? Just wondering if it lines up ok etc. Should be able to do save as from the pic to get the original size)

Considering it's AVP you should do an Alien one to go with it.
The screen i'm looking at it with is a bit grubby so i'm not going to say i thought why are there brown spots in there?

On his skin anyway. At least, I HOPE that's the only place they are :s
For the layout, I downloaded one of the old Warhawk wallpapers a while back, and it has all the grid lines and everything still saved in the jpeg.
As for the alien one, When I have time (I'm strating to get into photo retouch stuff, to try and branch out workwise) I'm going to be finishing off a pic I was painting of.... Ahem...master chief... (runs for the hills)
If you want, you can do save as from here, and use my wallpaper as a template, kinda. The red laser line, and the middle of the 'V' in AVP should line up with the middle of the icons
Well, as I mentioned before, instead of doing an alien wallpaper, I'm doing the cooking legend himself, Master Chef!!

It's just linework stage at the mo, and I didn't want to start a new thead for it, as I'd probably get shot down in flames
If people are ok with it.... I might post stages as I go along, so people can see how I work. (it's a bit different to the way people speedpaint and things, as I'm used to clients making changes to colour work etc after linework is approved)
It's gonna be coloured kinda like the Predator pic, so the linework won't show after. Maybe do a black and white version to make it moody
1st Time I'm gonna be doing rain too, so could be interesting
