I would be willing to host it, if nobody minds.

Just give me till sometime tomorrow and i'll give some thought into it, perhaps we could have some kind of discussion.

I've only just recently returned here so i would need to get an idea of how it is done, what is done and so on.

Go for it. we set a theme either a render or a idea such as "hatred", then we send our entries via pm or just post them in the thread. A week is given to get the entries in. A voting thread is then posted in GD for a week.

Ok, unless anyone has any objections to myself doing it - i'll set it up tomorrow. Sunday seems a rather nice day to begin i think.

So i assume that, whilst voting takes place for 'Week 1', 'Week 2's theme is announced so that we have a Winner each week?

Like..

 Week 1  ----- Week 2------ Week 3

Theme   ------Voting ------ Results

NOTHING --- Theme ---- > Voting

It makes sense in my head anyway.
We'll see what people think, i'd like to keep it as close to how Evo done it though - that way i can be sure it worked and people took part.

Not sure if it's alright with everyone if I take over as host

for the SOTW. So, is it alright with everyone?

Since I don't know when the last SOTW was, we'll start with SOTW(week 1). I'll say this again, this week is going to be shorter than the next ones since I want to get this set up as soon as possible. After this week, you'll be given a full week to post your entries on the specific theme.

PS.com SOTW Competition...

This SOTW starts Tuesday 10th February and ends on Sunday 15th February.

The rules are:

All entries must not exceed 500*200.

No limit on file size.

Your entry must be made within the week.

Your entry must have your username on it. It doesn't have to be your full username, it can be a shortened version of your name. Like Detsurasu is shortened by Dets.

The theme is:

Evil

Remember, this is about your interpretation of this theme. It can be anything you want if you feel it relates to the theme, evil, whether evil is a part of the name or the actual focal is evil in your view.

PM your entries to me so it doesn't get cluttered.
