Some positive criticism on the Bethesda site suggest it is too bright, so the white fire (hotter) has been toned down in temperature to be more red/yellow and increased heat on the armor to give the effect it is starting to reach melting point. The angle is different as well because it is hard when you have no original reference as the game is full screen, but the bow seems to be better aligned in this one:
Will be re-doing the scene again tomorrow replacing the Bow with the Shield in the guarding position and the character crouching.
