Hey guys, this could have been asked a lot, but i'm looking to get into photography and filming, so i'm looking for an SLR camera. My budget is £300 but i could stretch to £350. Do you guys have any idea? would it be best to buy the body and lense seperate?

An SLR is something I myself need to pick up at some point. No doubt others here will be able to recomend all sorts of brands but if you're after Sony then this http://www.sony.co.uk/discussions/community/en/support could be of help to you You'd be amazed how many people don't usually know about those forums and before I worked for Sony I found their MVPs and staff helpful and honest.

I recommend a canon.

You could get a 450D for about £300 now. Great body's used by many.
