Yep' actually I live there, South-eastern France, in NICE and on the famous "Promenade des Anglais" but I diddn't shot the pic from my railings, I was walking going to the beach, I live nearby this place (about ~3kms), only things you can find there are hotels and tourists from all over the world...I think you heard talking about this city, this is where Angelina Jolie gave birth 1 week ago

Nowhere near on the same level as most here, but I'm only just beginning to get the hang of this friggin camera still ! Here's a photo I recently took on my camera.

It's shot using HDR but seeing as my camera doesn't shoot in Raw as it's only a Bridge camera the quailty isn't as good as an SLR:
