I don't have Illustrator to do any vector work so I used Photoshop (CS).
Now, Photoshops vector is not as great as vector based programs, I'm sure you people know that.
My proper vector graphic I did was for my Uni exhibition. A mascot to represent our course and such.
Here she is.
It's a simple design, I didn't go as far or as good as EightBall.
I also did posters which was vector based till I got lazy and did it all bitmap based or so.
I stuck the mascot up in the corner.
Further on I printed out the mascot on A0 which as requested. I did'nt know what to do with it so we stuck her at the door.
I'm more of a drawer sometimes instead of a graphic artist, but I still need alot of improvement.
Use vectors in my job all the time doing vehicle graphics.... & desiging t shirts , most of the time i get some idiot who gets a logo or image off a website and wants it 5ft tall on the side of is van in which case i have to drag it into corel and make it into vector format manually and cut it out on a plotter type machine.

I had that problem when making a poster for a Battle Of The Bands. They sent me all these really bad quality logos to put onto this poster, so I had to vector them all...
