A couple of new characters should be revealled at SD Comic Con pretty soon.  I think the preview is tomorrow afternoon Pacific time?

YES!!! Jak and Daxter has been confirmed for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and so is Cole McGrath!

Akuji The Heartless:

A great character from a long-forgotten game. Akuji was a Voodoo priest who had his heart ripped out on his wedding day, his game involved fighting through Hell in order to get back to his bride.

Imagine Wolverine but with all kinds of magic tricks. Akuji was an awesome character and should be given a spot in the game.

Solid Snake needs love too! Mabye even Lara Croft will make an appearance? After all, she was originally Playstation exclusive! She would be ideal for a fighting game like this! We'll also need mods from modnation racers, you never know, they might be able to use their karts!
