Count your self lucky, a good session for me is winning 1 round lol.
I'm just starting to get hang of things now and have won 3 games today My special moves are more consistant, still not having much luck with the super's or ultra's My brain and fingers refuse to work in tandem sometimes.
Gonna have a bash at the buffering and shortcuts, think they'll help me out no end.

Lol, I didn't know about them and don't think there is one for the Z style moves so it's not affecting me much.
Although I'm starting to really hate the game now It's a good session if I end up with the same amount of player points as I started with
Yeah, there is a shortcut for the z-shape moves ( Dragon punch moves is what pretty much everyone I know calls them, even outside Street Fighter ). If you double tap down/forward quickly you'll quite often get it, seems to work better if you do some thing like df + Medium Kick, df + Punch to get a crouching kick chaining into a Dragon Punch or whatever.
Like GTBunny said though they can be a pain, the worst I have for it is El Fuerte. His old Ultra ( 2 x QCF + KKK ) often came out as his EX Air Grab, due to doing the two fireball motions quickly so it picked up on the diagonals. That's why his new Ultra is a godsend, doesn't clash with any existing moves so it's a lot more consistent.

El Fuerte is one of the hardest characters to use.
You're going to need to work hard to get the most out of him. If you can knock the opponent down then you've got a chance with his decent mixup game; switch between the HK slide, the MP body press and the HP grab from his run when they're getting up to annoy the heck out of them. The hard part can be knocking them down in the first place, his only move with any real priority is the MP body splash from his run, and even that can be beaten out by Dragon Punch moves timed well enough.
Here's another site worth checking if you want to read more into, along with his section on the Shoryuken forums. There's also one attached to Gamespy, which I'll try and dig out.
