Either I'm hunting the wrong Adam (The one in Eden hall) or somehow this glitched has dropped for me cos I've beaten around 15 or so now and not a single one has dropped ANYTHING at all even with collectors catalogue or connosuiers catalog equipped.

Firstly after the first 5 or so I figured it was because i was using Vanilles death spell so I kitted up and figured and bundled through several hand to hand battle and victories none of which yielded results, now I can pretty much beat them and still yileding no drops I know the drop rate is low 15 and still nothing cannot be right?

This plat is going to be a grind as I get a better Perfume drop from the sacrifices than I do the darn Adam!!

I don't think it's glitched but rather then just luck of the cards. I mean in one day I got 2 traps, in fact I got about 7 traps all together now and im about 80 hours done. I'v been fighting adamantorises a lot and what I come to learn is some days will yield reward after reward while other days I get jack snit.

If it's gill you want I know the misson stone *thinks 59* the only one in the spring will give you a gold nugget for each clear and they go for 60,000gill a pop.

Google this but I think there stronger forms the guis have a better drope rate but are harder to put down.

You have much to learn about the toise family grasshopper...

Drop rates are really variable for everyone who plays the game.... Some people go to the trouble of even upgrading Fangs weapon and dismantling it for three Traps or even buying it from the depot (for something like 2 million gil) ... I managed to have 7 long before I finished farming gil. I probably would have had more if I didn't succumb to selling most of my inventory and buying what I had missed (without saving my gamesave) for the final 'acquire all weapons/accessories' trophy.

You just gotta keep trying if you want it. Everyone has their favoured fighting techniques and spots. I started long before my party was maxed and long before I had defeated all the marks, so I had something to break the monotony... rather do everything in the game and then decide I need to start farming toises.

I started doing it the Vanille death spell method, moved up to summon spawning to take out the legs, and then eventually I was comfortably able to walk around the Steppe taking on multiple toises before saving again. I have to be honest, I wasn't a big user of Eden. Only at the beginning when I was reliant on Vanille's death spell. I mainly used the save point in the middle of the Steppe, focused on the 2? tortoises, as my success and speed rate was always better with them than the toise (some find the toise easier even though it has higher HP).... and if frustration at drops started sneaking in, I'd often go trigger the tortoise Mark mission... at least with that one I was always guaranteed 60 thousand gil.
