Final Fantasy

I've got a older model 80gig ps3 and i keep getting black screens before some cut-scenes.. I've tired multiple discs and it freezes at the same place.. My ps3 plays all other games perfectly fine..

What happens is before a cut-scene my screen will go black, the backround music will stop playing, and whatever sound effect (like wind blowing, cricket chirping, ect) will continue to loop.. I can hit start to skip it but that just results in a black screen and me having to turn the PS3 off..

I think it has something to do with FF13 due to this happening on multiple discs and my ps3 playing all other games ok... Anyone else experienceing this?
