Well I;d been logging my kills at Adamantoises to figure out drop ratio's with the drop enhances and I've been extremely lucky... I think?

Plain luck, or has Trapezohedron been over rated as a rare drop from these beasties?

Just so you know, the catalogues don't stack, so only need 1 of whatever your going for. Rare drop in this case.

Yeah I think catalogues of same type dont stack but diferent ones do.. like one that increases drops and one that improves chance of rare..  not sure..

Bah just lost about 3 hours of grinding lol forgot to save and got a power cut...  Not happy so im off to bed..

This is my 2nd play thru and i forgot about all the grinding, once its done it dont seem so bad but when your doing it AHHHH lol at least this play thru is on the right account so I get the trophies lol.. 

Its not that long a game really the story mode..   If you rush thru ignoring most battles and only stopping of at farming CP locations skipping cut scenes, you can get thru game in no time at all... then you kill last boss and it still takes forever to grind and run around doing quests to open quick travel lol...

One tip for ya..   When summoning if you press SELECT i skips the summoning animation...

I'm actually getting annoyed at getting Trapez now... Got 9 of them now, 3 of them been used on Ultimate Weapons, I want 2 more plat's to finish my Ultimate weapons for Vanille Fang and Lightning to get the last load of cie'th missions done... Another 2 Trapezohedron's in a row Had 3 in a row earlier...

Well as a plus you only need the trapezoid thingys for weapons, so 6 shoudl suffice for the plat.

I willcost you about 1.5 mil to make a gae bolg to kains lance to max level and cost you 1 trap.  once you made it you can dismantle it ang get 3 trap from it, tho if you use fang and this is her main weapon maybe you dont want to.

Vanilles nirvana also gives 3 traps when dismatled.

But they need to be * level before dismantling..

If you dont use vanille (which we all do for certain tasks ) or Fang (shes one of my mains) then you cna make 6 traps out of 2...  but you need to pay to level up the weapons again lol..

S'what it says in the offical guide, then again, I have noticed a few mistakes in it. But pretty sure they would of checked something like this.

*Editted, I mean using 2 of the same type, doesn't stack, different ones all add together.

Not strictly true, you are actually 8 times more likely to get a SOL item (deceptesol, aegesol etc.) if you get 0 Stars than you are if you get 5 stars.
