My favouirt Normal Battle Music is FF3 and FF9

Boss battle music FF3,FF6,FF7,FF8,

Other battle music like the Jenovah music from FF7 is ace and Bizzaro Septhiroth and of Course Dum Dum Dum DUM (Hi pitched) DEDEN DEDEN The One wingeed Angel  SEPTHIROTH! DA DUM DA DAAAAAA!

What eles? Oh I like the Final boss battle music from FF6 DadaDAAAAADaA! BWuhuhuh! Bing Ding biNd dadaaaa!

The One Winged Angel music was indeed epic, although my favourite is the Final Fantasy X battle theme. Quite liked the Final Fantasy XIII battle theme too!

Boss fight on FF7 That music just reminds me of my childhood so much. And of course when you win a fight on FF7.

You are talking about FF here. As we all know FF series have ones of the best osts in gaming industry. Nobuo Uematsu did a splendid work adding his masterpiece and soul. Each FF game has something better than other, you just can't choose your best, at least I can't. I will try and go with a few from every FF, starting from VI...

FFVI is amazing game and no doubt has the best midi melodies from SNES FF games, from here I can pick Terra's theme (field theme - WoB), Relm's theme, Gau's theme (the saddest for me) and Forever Rachel (comes 2nd after Gau's).

FFVII  made a revolution in gaming world from a view of gameplay, story and music. One Winged Angel is probably one of the famous tracks ever. Lurking in the Darkness, Barret's theme, Tifa's theme, Don Corneo's theme are remarkable ones. There are more to name of course!

FFVIII. Actually I think FFVIII has the best osts from all FF games, so I won't name any, all of them are top notch.

FFIX has unique magical style of soundtracks, it's like a fantasy returned back to SNES versions. Amarant's theme is one of my favourite.

FFX. Oh dear lord, not to mention that this game was not only great but had THE most saddest and emotional story! Soundtracks in this one captured me forever. Tidus' theme, Prelude, To Zanarkand, Suteki Da Ne are all fantastic. PS2 amazed me with great stereo and quality of the sound. Bravo Nobuo.

FFX-2 had kinda JPop style and Nobuo didn't present there with his work, so I just skip this. However I really like some osts that much.

FFXII very underrated game with awesome osts! I would like to mark some of them: To the Place of the Gods, Seeking Power, Penelo's theme and of course a remake of Clash on the Big Bridge (FFV Gilgamesh boss battle)!

I missed many of my favourite but listed all epic ones!

Since were on the topic of FF music has one one listened to a band called "The Black Mages?" they remix Final Fantasy Tunes. Some of them are quite good.

I have heard the black mages' music. the first one I ever heard of theirs was their remix of Zeromus's battle song. My Favorite boss battle music is the Music From FFIV. That's one of the few battle musics that could be played in any Final Fantasy without sounding out of place.

I have all 3 Black Mages albums only like a few tracks of each though most of them the orginal's are better. It's a shame they've split up now though.
