Because it would require Square-Enix to re-released the game on disc that's why that or Sony rewritting the emulation code for one instance and then finding out it makes other games unplayable. So if you've ***** at not being able to play the game with your disc you even play it on PS1/2 or play it on a emulator on the PC which is legal since you'd own the game.

Hello.
Just wondering. I just got to the end of 3rd disk and what do you know the 4th one isnt working.
Well I read here already why, but I got a question. Would it be possible to get my save from my ps3 somehow to my computer so I wouldn't have to start all they way from the start with an emulator?

i know this is a very old topic, sorry to bumb it and revive it.
i have the same problem after the 2nd disc.
i know what the problem is so that's not what i need to know.
if i download the PSN version can i use the savefile from the discs so that i don't have to restart everything?
