Agreed. FFIX has the worst battle loading times of all the PS1 fantasies. Nevertheless, it was a superb game in every other respect. I really liked how light-hearted it was compared to 7 and 8. I mean I loved all three games, but it was nice to have a wise-cracking plucky hero after the quiet and contemplative Cloud and Squall.
