Harry_Salsamix wrote:Since many years ago that I wanted to play Final Fantasy VII, so I bought the game from PSN! The game is a masterpiece and I simply love it!
But... I've finally reached the final battle (I think it really is) and it's against Sephiroth.
Now, I've been investing hours and hours with this game, more or less 65 hours, and I have Cloud at level 75, and the rest of my "main" party is filled with Barret (level 73) and Red XIII (level 73). These levels happen when I start battling Sephiroth after I kill JENOVA.
However, Im having a very but VERY big problem... At first when I reached the Northern Crater (where all the final battles take place) I noticed that we can pick up an item on a chest that allows us to create just only ONE (!!!) Save Point at this place... So after some hours of battles to level up and finding all chests I created the only available Save Point right in the place where the entire group gets separated by choosing the members that go to the right and to teh left. Everyone else (except me, Barret and Red XIII) went to the right.
Now there's some possible hours of more battles (if I want to explore this well, which I do) and I can't simply save ANYMORE (unless if I go back to the Save Point...)!
There's 2 weapons that I find that look powerful, one for Barret and the another one is for Cloud (if I'm not wrong) but I didn't use them because both of them don't let the Materia (that gives us all the magic and spells energy) grow up and multiply...
So after some more hours of gameplay (without saving!) I've finally reached the giant hole to the lifestream where I could battle Sephiroth, but before that I still needed to reach the end and I had to battle against very big monsters including JENOVA herself. I've killed all of them and I've finally reached Sephiroth!
Now I have to admit that I did a giant mistake previously: when the members of the group got separated (at that Save Point I've mentioned) I didn't notice that everyone, besides my party, gets all of their Materia spheres retrieved so I should had to put all of them back into their weapons/armor/accessories, but I didn't... (how could I've guessed the game itself would do that).
Now finally, when I reach Sephiroth and before the battle begins the entire group is separated into two parties, my party is the usual one, and the other one is Cid, Vincent and Caith Sith (I let both Tifa and Yuffie outside of the battle).
Sephiroth tranforms into a giant monster with 3 "heads" (A, B and C), I've been beating the CRAP of him with attacks, summons, spells, magic, etc... EVERYTHING!
BUT... Sephiroth just keeps using that extremely lame "Bizzarro Enegy" (I think that they misspelled it and it was supposed to be "Energy"... whatever) to recover more or less between 6400 and 6800 HP (his own energy) and it's simply IMPOSSIBLE to beat him... He just keeps recovering and recovering while I destroy at least his A head but this one just keeps getting recoverd again... Head B is the one that I keep trying to destroy because Head C just eceives 0 damage...
How the hell can I beat him?! I basicly have all aeons except Bahamut Zero (I really never understood how could I get this one because the blue materia never everv appeared on that Buggenhagen machine), I have the spell "Ultima" that gives almost 500 HP of damage, I keep using all aeons from everyone but the ***** just keeps recovering!
All of this WITHOUT saving once! This was a really lame move from Square, because at least I would want to be able to save more than once and not having to repeat EVERYTHING again from the Save Point!
And why this extremely cheap shot with the Bizzarro "Enegy" of Sephiroth? This takes off a lot of the epicness of the battle because it's annoying and extremely unfair... and without letting us to save before the battle!
Can someone please help me and give me some hints? After hours and hours into this game I'm really concerned abeout this... Do I need to retire the Northern Crater? But I don't that's even possible...
Just to note that I never played the Chocob side quest, it was boring...
do you have the summon materia knights of the round and the mime materia, if so there is a very easy way to beat sepiroth in all his forms

Wow on Earth can we beat Emerald Weapon?! This guys is impossible to beat!
In just one round he has the ability to shot us with several rays that take off our entire MP points and then the HP points.
You'll need Cloud's Omnislash limit break or Barret's Ungarmax limit break, if you don't have one of these then you'll need mastered KOTRT summons. You'll also need some pretty meaty materia especially mastered Mime and some Hero Drinks.
This video from YouTube shows you how to beat Emerald in less than two minutes but you need quiet a few mastered Mime materia paired with mastered counter materia which takes some pretty tedious grinding to get.

I don't have the "summon materia knights of the round" because I've heard the Chocobo's quest is extremely boring and not fun at all. And I really don't kow how to get it started (maybe with the man on the highwind asking about Chocobos?).
And I've tried to purchase the Omnislahs, ut then I figured out one thing: everytime I battle on the Battle Artena I gain more or less 2038 battle points, but... I have to gain 32.000 battle points (!!!!!) to buy the Cloud Limit Break?!
So I need to do more or less 15-16 battles on the Battle Arena to gain that ability?! Not even mentioning that I have to gain alot of points to play each game on the Gold Saucer and I can't get off the Battle Arena once because I'll lose all of my own BP...
This is soooooooooo LAME! It's not fun at all... Unless if there's another way to do this.
But I already have the Barret Limit Break "Ungarmax", it's not his last Limit Break... And it seems that when I battle Bizzarro Sephiroth my Limit Breaks were so unbelievable slow to grow up... In fact, I think that I didn't even use them more than once.

There is another way of getting a gold chocobo but you aren't going to like it, you have to defeat Ruby Weapon.
When you beat Ruby you get the Desert Rose, just take it to a traveller in one of the buildings upstairs in Kalm after Meteor has been summoned and he will put a gold chocobo in a stall at the chocobo ranch so you got to make sure you have one empty, I think you can buy six in total.
If you can find an easy technique for defeating Ruby on the internet that's the way to go.

Man... when I thought that Emerald Weapon was atrocious to beat (I can't even beat him, it's impossible) Ruby Weapon is EVEN WORSE!!!
Now I'm finally battling Safer Sephiroth, I can cause a 999 damage with each Cloud strike, and I have the 4x-cut attack, Red XIII has the 2x-cut's one. Barret has none of them, but he has the Mega-All materia.
And I also have the Ultimate Weapon for Cloud.
Now, I had to stop battling Safer Sephiroth because it's too late already, I'll battle him tomorrow, but I've noticed a few things already...
First off, now I could finally beat Bizzarro Sephiroth and it was failry easy, now I'm extremely powerful: Cloud - Level 97, Barret - Level 91, Red XIII - Level 91.
And now while I'm battling Sephiroth I've noticed that he can fly so I can't reach him all the time, and he uses one powerful attack that when it's used many plantes from the Solar System appear until this attack reaches my party....
And Sephiroth also uses one attack that is called something like "Fearthless Angel" (I doubt the first word is this one) and causes my party to reach a very low HP level and all of them (except Barret) were silenced so I couldn't use spells against Seohiroth to retaliate...
What's the best way to dodge these attackas? And it seems that I need to use accessories that make me "anti-silenced".
How can I put Sephiroth on the ground more times? Everytime he flies it's a lot harder to reach him.

Ruby is the easy one, Emerald is the hard one.
Look on google for tips on the best materia set ups, master materia are a must, you should have all characters with 9999 hp and 999 mana, now if you have all materia (Including knights of the round from breeeding gold chocobo (best follow a guide to save you time)
OmniSlash for cloud is a MUST end of, i wont spoil it but GET IT.
Knights of the round and Mime are a must for the emerald and ruby weapons. Well mime at least.
Double Cast / summon..
Get the right combos and each character can deal sick amounts of damage each round while healing 9999 ho and 999 mp.
Easily beating sephiroth is down to the grinding and items you have, leveled up materia too, if you want to do it the hard way. Double cast , double summon, quad slash, etc..

Actually you are the first person I've ever seen claiming that Emerald Weapon is more difficult to beat than Ruby Weapon.
What I've been reading by everyone else is precisely the contrary.
Now I'll try to beat Safer Sephiroth. The two Weapons I'll try it later because it seems that we have to do boring quests to gain such power.
Of course that I already have beaten Ultimate Weapon, this one is fairly easy to beat.

Wow... just WOW!!!!!
I just finished my battle against Safer Sephiroth and... it was SO EASY!!!! WHAT???
So it seems that now I'm really but really extremely powerful! I mean, I have beaten Safer Sephiroth in just what? 3 minutes???
And I didn't even have the Omnislash, however I autoomatically gained it after the battle ended only to use it once again against Sephiroth and finally kill him.
I wasn't expecting this... I had thought that Sephiroth was a lot harder unless if it is really what I'm saying: I'm extremely powerful at this moment.
So if this is true then I have to beat both Emerald and Ruby Weapons... I need to get the Omnislash, it's so powerful it's not even funny.
And how on Earth can I get Bahamut Zero? I mean, when the train countdown ened I couldn't stopped it and it destroyed part of Corel - Barret's hometown. But even with this can I get the Blue Huge Materia?
The Blue Huge Materia is the only one that I'm still missing...

LOL cool, i never got to the ed bit without owning onmislash, i didnt realise game just gave it you, I spose it would suck if you got there and couldnt finish the game cuz you didnt have omnislash..
If you missed the Huge blue materia then you cant go get it i dont think, so you cant get Zero in the usual way..
All is not lost tho... You can dig it up in the Bone Village..
See http://www.shillatime.org/bonevillage0000.jpg
That should show you the requirements and digging spot.

o does it really mean I can still achieve the Huge Blue Materia to receive Baahamut Zero?
I'll try it tomorrow, thanks!
