Just thought we could have a single thread for all the FFXIII-2 talk. Better than just making singular threads everytime.

So I have a problem already. Anyone got to Oerba 200AF yet? At the end you have a boss battle with

Caius. He keeps demolishing me. Stagger him one and then he goes crazy afterwards. Heals himself every few seconds.

Anyone done this yet? Any tips?

Oh the Caius fights, every one of them, are *****ing gay. I just try to buff myself, debuff him, and then Relentless Assault him.

Always remember though, there's no level cap on this, so just go back and level a bit if you are having trouble

Edit: Btw, would everyone like a bosses guide? And if so - would you want me to through everything into a REALLY long thread, or post each boss in a seperate thread each, and then have 1 index'ing thread?

I finally figured out the levelling system and how to get the most from it, so I'm gonna start a new game now and optimize my characters

Yeah just beat him on that stage first time.

Used: Combos : SAB/SYN/Heal To remove his buffs and put Buffs on yourself.
Then just switched between paradigms ie Rav/Com/Med then once staggered & full HP switch to COMx3 for max damage.

& repeat

Yeah I thought I might need a Saboteur. His buffs are ridiculous. I left Oerba for a bit and went to Sunleth Waterscape 300AF, thought I could do with a bit of leveling. Think I'm at the Archlyte Stepp now ???AF.

Also is there actually a level cap on this game? How far can you level up? Anyone know?

Anyone fought Omega yet? The thing killed me in one hit. Have no chance of taking him on yet.

And Mark, if you are creating a boss guide then I reckon one thread would be fine and then have it stickied or something. Also what is the best way you have found out to level your character?

Well Serah/Noel can go upto 99 in each of their roles.

You can get to Level. 99 in all 6 Roles.

Monsters have various caps, depending on how they "grow" (Early Peaker, Well-Grown, Late Bloomer) ranging from 15-99 respectively.

Omega is tough, Gonna need max characters, or atleast close too, probably, I can survive there for a bit with COM/MED/SEN but other than that, he eventually, slowly, but surely, out damages my heals.

I haven't done much levelling so cannot say, I was just doing fragments, unfortunately, and won't be for awhile as I started a new save to optimize my Crystarium.

I know of a few spots near the end of the game that, on my first glance, seem to be really good to level, but I didn't go check it out.

Also take note, if you want a perfect save, NEVER infuse or release these guys, I think they are 1 time only:

Just about to fight Caius again in Oerba.

Anyone know what this monster infusion does?

Edit: Just destroyed him 90 seconds. May have levelled up a bit much or the poison done a great job
