every wondered what it would be like to have a fight against lighting?.... now you can

coming tomorrow when the store updates a new DLC will be avaliable to download for £1.59 this DLC will give you the chance to fight Lighting in the Coliseum...... oh and to top it off you can add lighting to you party as a 3rd member after you have defeated her

this DLC will include the chance to fight Amodar which is a NPC later on in the game where he asks you a few questions when he pops up here and there.

it is also said that more well-known characters and monsters from past Final Fantasy titles will be making an appearance to the Coliseum battle arena so we can look forward to a few bits of DLC for the game

what do yous think do you think it will be worth the £1.59 they are asking for?

How is 1 battle and 2 monsters, which may or may not be better than monsters already in the game, worth £1.60?

and tbh i dont think its worth it they lowered the price a bit then lighting might be worth using

No point now. Now that I've finished the story she would be no use.

a aint iv only got about 100 of the fragments i finished the game monday morning and a aint played it since, so i might get it think i have a few quid left in me wallet might aswell get it see what shes like plus i wanna get the plat on this one i had 80% on ff13 and that was with 70 hours game play and i give up on it i couldnt be bothered to keep farming

It doesn't matter anyway.

You don't really want a ravager in your team, you want a commando.You will need COM/COM/COM for bosses, and you really don't want two monsters in an attacking role. Ravager monsters, for the most part, are somewhat useless.

Is Lightning a Ravager only?

Indeed, there's a blog post on Squeenix's US website a bit furthur down which states this:

"once defeated, add these two to your party: either choose to use Lightning who plays the Ravager role, or Amoda who plays the Commando role."

If she could play all 6, or even just the initial 3 she gets in XIII (COM,RAV, MED I believe), it would probably be worth it, but like that it's not.

Wouldnt surprise me if they ended up bringing out Lighting in her Valhalla Armor and making her a Commando.

Yeah if she had multiple roles then you could say it is worth it, but just a ravager...no thanks.
