Re: The Complete Guide to Upgrading Weapons and Accessories

Well there are a few items you can only get once but they dont need upgrading so even if you sold em it dont matter.

Look to upgrade Ribbon to supper ribbon before selling.

Look to upgrade Hermes sandles (Quest reward) to sprint shoes (tho im sure a mob dropped one for me)

The following are chest loot thru game so if you sold or missed em some you may be stuck with.. in most cases you get 2 chances and dismatling a maxed out one should give you the lower level one..

You should pick up an ember ring and a blaze ring, the later needs upgrading to Salamander ring

You should also pick up a spark ring and a fulment ring the latter upgrades to Raijin ring

You should also get Aqua ring and riptide ring the later needing upgrading to nereid ring

You should also get Zephyr Ring and gale ring with the later upgrading to a Slyphid ring

You should also get a clay ring and a siltstone ring with the later upgrading to a gaian ring

You will only get 2 frost rings as a reward from mish 11 they need upgrading to the icicle ring then the Boreal ring.

The tetradic crown can be upgraded to tetradic tiara, again a mob drops these so all is not lost.

You will also only ever get 1 x Fire, Ice,lightning, Water, Wind and Earth Charm they all upgrade to a 20 sided die which you will get as a quest reward anyhow so if you sold these its no loss.  All of these can be found in chests in the architypal step.

Re: The Complete Guide to Upgrading Weapons and Accessories

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=tGk0t9IGhI8Ge3MWhvTxZOw

just found this spreadsheet which is quite useful it shows what can be boughtin the shops, its also copyable if you want to save a copy to your pc so yo ucan tick things of as you get em.

Dont rely on xp values for upgrading most are missing But the info on upgrading the items is good, you can see the upgrade paths.

If you want the xp requirements on upgrading look at the tables mark has done (first post in thread) that will give you a better idea of xp costs.

Re: The Complete Guide to Upgrading Weapons and Accessories

So I've just recieved the collectors catalogue, does my leader have to have this equipped for it to work or can anyone in my party use it. Also what is the difference between this collectors catalogue and the upgraded version.

Re: The Complete Guide to Upgrading Weapons and Accessories

Aslong as someone in your active party has it equipped it works.

The upgraded version of the Collectors Catalog is the Connoisseur Catalog, which Increases the odds of getting rare items after battle.

Re: The Complete Guide to Upgrading Weapons and Accessories

Is it worth having Collectors Catalogue or upgrading it? I've been running about with it on and not sure if it's pointless the now and only useful when I'm actually just going for the items?

Re: The Complete Guide to Upgrading Weapons and Accessories

Upgrade it, more rares = more cash and you will get another collectors catalogue in the course of the game, if you really cant wait buy one from moogleworks.  I have both equipped all the time, more drops = more moolah..

Re: The Complete Guide to Upgrading Weapons and Accessories

Thanks for all the help :smileyhappy:
Should I be selling all my components and just buying the ones that give the best xp/gil ratio then?
