I've bought a chinese version of Folklore (Game language is English) and I was wondering will the add-ons on the EU PSN work for my versionof the game?

simple answer is no they will not. You will have to check the region code on the back of the box the UK folklore packs are for region 2

That's not good, but if I download it from a japanese or chinise store than it should work ? Anybody knows what language are add-ons there ?

I would guess if parts of the game are in English, parts of the add-on pack would be too.

Let me clear the misconception now... Games are not region locked, content is not region locked, HOWEVER games from one region are also not compatible from content from another region. i.e. you cannot use a pack from the EU on a chinese game. You can try this if you don't believe me by downloading the free packs, and trying to play them. You'll notice that they create a seperate entry rather than adding to the info already stored for Folklore.

It is not a misconception, on the back of the UK folklore game there is region 2 on the back. Check your UK playstation 3 handbook for the regions your PS3 can handle. Folklore chose this game to be region 2, however it could have been "ALL" region if they had chosen.
I looked this stuff up for myself so please check yourself before telling others they are wrong.
