Hmm, I've had Folklore for some time now and it's a great game but it makes so much noise, it's un-real.

Almost like a grinding sound. It happens with some of my other games (when loading) but with Folklore, it's non-stop.

I know there's not much I can do but does anybody else have this?

Hmm, ok.

I was just concerned it might be damaging my system but the game runs fine. Just horribly loud is all. Anyone else?

Check the orientation of your PS3. Move it around (not while on obviously) to different places near where you have it, try it vertical if you have it horizontal etc. It could be that the noise dies down after a few uses (I had a Wii game that made a racket when I first got it, then after a couple of days it was as quiet as my other games).
