While loading Folklore today i was told to download an update which i did. But i have no idea what it did. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Strange, I'm playing it now and I wasn't told to download an update. Maybe if I restart the game... Edit: Downloaded and installed the update now. No idea what it did though, lol. Version 1.10 though.

Yeh i got that to, what is funny is.

when i turn on my ps3 b4 i do anything or play any game i nip into the playstation store to see if theres any new map packs or demo's

and there was non it was the same stuff as it was for like a week.

so i went to play the folklore to finish upgrading the last 1-2 folks on keats what it said i needed to update to 1.10 if i wanted to play so i did and the game started after with NO!!!! mention of what the patch done.

b4 i started playing again for some reson i thought "you know what i think am gona look at the store again cos i got a funny feeling theres somit new"

and there was. was about 2 new page's of stuff for me as well as another folklore map pack (that if i wasnt such a idiot i should have got it downloading while typing this ARGH lol) do it after hehe

so yes i would like to know what the patch did am getting SICK AND TIRED of having updates that sony hasnt bothered to to put in what it does even if its just

Or even if it was just one thing it still would be nice to know exactly whats the update is for so please sony see this and start letting us know or even posting Details here.
thow that thing about the back up would be nice i dont know if map packs are included in that.

anyway so does any one know what that update is all about??

I looked at the offline mode, new folks, online mode, maybe balancing, but it all is still the same. So I think, it is just a bugfix or something.

not exactly an update question : I bought the game from the USA, can I use the downloadable material? (know only the French names : the kidnapping and from the deep), can we access them only later?

The patch adds rumble support from what I can understand. Also, downloadable content only works for that region (i.e. European Store content won't work on the American game and vice versa)

oh yeah! my dual shock 3 is on it's way to me now, i'm gonna so play this game right out!, i'm guessing other games that do support the dual shock 3 will get a update in a similar manner?

Interestingly I just checked Folklore and it was on version 1.10 despite the fact that I never downloaded any update. I think it must come with one of the DLCs as I have all of those, probably the second one which is about 20MBs bigger than the other two.

thanks for replies Rumble support makes sense.
But i still wish updates would contain some info which even the firmwares seem to lack at times.
