why is there allways so many updates in the store on this game? i have nobody who talks about this on my friends list or anybody around the forums talking about this. its not that great

Firstly, have you or any of your friends even played the demo? Secondly, looking at your sig, you're into shooting and driving games & so will your friends and thirdly, you seem to have a very set opinion, which seems like you only like the games that TV tells you and I suspect that if your friends don't feel the same, you'll intimidate them. Apologies if Im wrong, but I feel like this is a really good game that is easy to pick up and play and feels special and different. It makes use of the playstation 3's motion sensitive controls better than any games I see in your sig and it actually tells a story that is cool to follow. Fair enough point that the game is unknown to a lot of people but most reviews rate this game highly and it really isn't a good enough reason to slate the game. The reason there is so many updates in the store is because this game is very popular in Japan and we have been fortunate enough to be able to get the same add on packs.

Just because the game has alot of downloadable content does not mean that it's over-rated. It just means that the developers are committed to their game even after release which is commendable.

...And a lot of people are talking about it in the area of the forum set aside for it. We have a few games in common (R&C / Burnout Paradise & Timeshift) try the demo if you haven't already you may find you like it.

so your saying that folklore is more played and better then COD4 and warhawk??!! well its not. and yes i played the demo and WTF! it just seemed stupid! the stroyline,the enemys...it didn't get the best reviews and yet in the ps store there are updates after updates. and to ne honest you are to much of a fan of this game.
and what's this about intimadating them?? yer so im really gonna go "no dont buy COD4 that got rated 10 out of 10 and everybody played it, by folklore"! com on its there choice,

its not overrated its underrated, secondly you have no rpg in your games list (that says a fair bit, and i don't count RAC rpg enough). thirdly since when did loads of content make a game overrated? in that sense godfather on 360 must be way overated.

Unless you mastered ratchet and clank, i doubt you have the patience for this game (most of the games in your list are fast paced, this is a rpg thus slow)

and out of curiosity, do you dislike reading alot of text in game?

You didn't read a word I wrote. I didn't say it was better or worse I only tried to justify the fact that this game isn't bad at all. You don't want to listen to other's opinions so I don't even know why you bothered to post other than to stir something up

Hell i know I do, i just fast forward through that. - Still love the game though

The game is not overrated it appeals to a lot of people and doesnt appeal to a lot of people. If the reviewer didn't like this style of game they were goning to give it a lower score.

If you read reviews (which i never do anymore) you tend to see a trend in the Games that they like. Me i play the demo and decide from there...

Your saying the game is over-rated, then you say nobody you know has it or talks about it. Wouldn't that make it under-rated then

So you don't like this kind of game? Thats fine. But why you have to start a thread slating a game just because we get lots of downloadable content for it is beyond me. If you have a problem with this why not write a letter of complaint to the developers of the games you play, asking for some downloadable content.

P.S. Nobody said it was more popular than COD4 etc......... And the main reason not many people talk about it around the forum, is probably because we all discuss it in the Folklore section.

Folklore and NFS Pro Street are the 2 games that are in my PS3 90% of the time. I play them both fairly equally and have all the content from the store for it. It has the best six axis usage of any game so far and also best DS3 effects of any game I have played so far. Most of all its something different then the cookie cutter FPS's
