Re: De-Militarising Your Football (Or "How to put your PS3 in a DMZ")

I'm having the same Fifa 11 connection issues.

I have a ZyXel P-660HW-D1 v2 router.

Followed the steps fine up until put your in DMZ. I couldn't find DMZ anywhere on the administration page. Any help would be great!!

Re: De-Militarising Your Football (Or "How to put your PS3 in a DMZ")

I have my PS3 in DMZ and i am even forwarding ports which i found in the FIFA manual. I spent hours on the phone with my internet provider tech. support with no luck. There is no problem with my connection, there is no problem on my link between provider and me. We checked everything twice maybe three times. My playstation shows NAT 2 and Call of duty black ops or FIFA 10 works perfect. There is problem only with FIFA 11. The firewall status in FIFA 11 shows MODERATE mode, but when i turn off firewall in my router game shows RESTRICTED, this doesn't make sense. I think the game is f***ed altogether. Anyone knows what else could i try? I am sick of the window with '' connection has been lost''.

Re: De-Militarising Your Football (Or "How to put your PS3 in a DMZ")

May aswell ask this here seeing as though I haven't got a clue, anyone know if the o2 wirelessbox IV has a DMZ setting, can't find it anywhere, all there is, is port forwarding, which PS3 ports, FIFa ports are open, sometimes I don't get a Network Setting, sometimes it's Restrictive, sometimes it's Moderate.

Getting disconnected from EA servers is ***** me off now, only happens waiting in the DR really though.

I've only ever had issues with FIFA.

Re: De-Militarising Your Football (Or "How to put your PS3 in a DMZ")

Hello, I am connecting to the internet via a Virgin Media Ambit 256 Modem. I have also been having disconnection problems with fifa and I tired to place my modem into DMZ mode, but there is no setting on the web interface for my modem to put it into DMZ.

Is my modem already in dmz? i cannot forward any ports on the website and so is there any other way of putting it into dmz or preventing these disconnections thanks.

Re: De-Militarising Your Football (Or "How to put your PS3 in a DMZ")

Having some serious hassle here too gentlemen. Using the same wireless router/network I have been for five years or so. Now, post PSN network meltdown, firewall settings are now showing as restrictive. PS3 is in DMZ, all ports forwarded, static IP set, nothing, not a damn thing. Can't find opponents on ranked head to head.

Please help!
