Hey folks,

This FIFA 12 Cup is part or our FIFA 12 Forum League, so you will need to participate in that league if you wish to take part in this cup.  Although the league only accepts new entries at end of each season (which is usually every other month).

Anywho for those that do take part in our FIFA 12 Forum league, I can finally announce our first Forum Cup to go alongside it.

The Rules!

There are few rules you will all need to consider when taking part in this competition.

• You must choose the same team as you picked in the FIFA 12 Forum League.  (If you are not in the league then I'm afraid you can't join until you are).
• Each match is just the one game.  If it's a draw, play again until someone wins. 
• Once you lose you are out of the tournament.
• After each game you will need to post the results in this thread.
• You have 2 weeks to play your Cup matches.  (So starting from 28th May until 11th June will be the first cup match fortnight).

It is important to arrange the games in this thread because of lack of attendance.  The person who has shown less interest in combining the date / time will be the one who will be attributed to lack of attendance.

Each time you post to arrange a match with your opponent you must also post a suggestion for the date and time as well.  So rather than post "I'm free all week" please just suggest a date and time for your opponent to say yes or no to instead

If you are given a date and time you can't make, don't simply post saying “I can't do that time”, please post a date and time you can do instead.

Match Rules:

Online Friendly but using online squads (for upto date teams and to prevent any meddling or virtual pros being used)

Duration of each half: 6 minutes
Controls: Any
Speed ​​of play: Normal

What do you win?

The winner will receive the unique forum rank of "Best Footballer" to go alongside their avatar.  I think that's what it's called anyway.  I may need to check that one but you get the idea lol.
