Seriously, why does this happen. I get players with poor technique lobbing my keeper, it doesn't matter how good they are, the keeper is lobbed and it's exactly the same every time, they don't get through that often but it's just over the top. I do duoble tap triangle to keep him in but he still comes out and it's really annoying me now. Is there any news from EA about patching this because it's getting on my *****, so much so, I find myself not wanting to play it, which I don't want

I have found that if you do not touch triangle at all when a defender is closing the keeper down, he stays on his line.

Be wary though that unless you do narrow the angle down slightly they will generally score either side of you.

Double tap triangle to keep goalie on his line. Ah see you are doing this.. Weird...

Though I gotta admit - what the ***** were EA thinking?

The default should be him staying on line and you have to bring him out....

And playing BAP I cant ever get the keeper to stay on his line.

yeah this is happening to me a lot and i am gettin mighty ***** off with it. I was playin a guy the other day and i was 4-0 up in the 1st half, now i play an attacking formation so sometimes i get caught on the break, in the second half i tried to be a bit fancy and was trying to score a few screamers but this guy broke on me 4 times and lobbed the keeper all 4 times and i was double tappin the crap out of that button. This really grates my cheese!!  arrrgggghhhhhhhhh

You very rarely see players attempting to lob the keeper in a one on one situation in real life. I think fifa should fix it by taking the L1 option out of the game and if you do wanna lob the keeper, attempt it by pressing Square.

This happens to me a lot aswell so I normally try to get a tall keeper.

The lob should be a skill move using circle + the right analogue stick... anyone can do L1 + circle but if they made it a trick move it would require skill...

I tend just not to press triangle at all when I don't have the ball, this usually works and I only get annoyance by getting beat by cutbacks

Agreed, should be a standard finish instead of them lobbing your keeper successfully everytime. Gary your idea is good, with the lobbing being a skill move, make it harder.

The keeper should only come out on the players command not automatically, do you not see that? They've done this and the keeper gets lobbed by every clown and his dog, no matter their technical ability. I'm not saying the 1 on 1's happen often, i'm not that bad, but when they do the same thing happens.
