yep definately allowed. i'd like to gauge everyones thoughts on manual controls. personally, after playing the game on manual, i feel it plays a much fairer game of footy as you really have to work for your passes as opposed to ping pong passing it around the place...

getting a good bit of interest now, would be really nice to get the full 16 teams so let your fifa vita owning mates know!

also as it'll be a last 16 knockout, it wont require as much committment of your time as the leagues will.

depending on your opinions, we can do two legged rounds or if not, we can follow the euro route of 1 chance only!

hey man, the EA hosted "Manual Only" lobbies allow for the use of touchscreen and touchpad controls. i feel the touchscreen passing is only of benefit when shooting left to right, as from right to left it can be quite difficult to pull off, but i feel the manual  will make the game fairer as people will have to work that bit harder for their passing/crossing, which i feel will ensure a more competitive tournament! still like to hear more of yours and everyone elses thoughts on the matter.

also for everyone to note, we will be finishing sign up this saturday for the tournament with the hope of getting things kicking off early next week! if you or your friends havent put their name down yet, be sure to tell them. some of the community team should also hopefully be taking part, and lets be honest, what better way to start the week than by eliminating the sony employees from the tournament!

i also have it on good authority that there has been quite a few copies of fifa vita floating around the office, so they will have no excuse! show them no mercy!

So wait. Is it manual controls we are using? I can't use them. I don't see what difference it makes anyway, if someone is good with manual controls they are better than someone using assisted controls.

Hey Kiez, thanks for your feedback. thats why i want to gauge peoples opinions on which control scheme to use. if people want to go with semi-assisted/assisted then we can. personally i think it it more difficult to play with manual than it is assisted, and to be honest i cant find the benefits of playing manual but i play it because i feel its more of a challenge and atleast my opponent is in the same boat. i've just found that crossing is an awful lot easier in assisted than manual so it can lead to cheap goals, but if enough people want to, i've no problem having open controls to whatever the user wants dont worry!

admitidely i was absolutely hopeless with manual controls, passes flying everywhere but where i'd want them to go, but i just stuck with it an am enjoyin the game more now!

but as i said if people want to do assisted, no problem atall! what i'd say to everyone is maybe give manual a few tries over the next few days and see how you get on, then come back to the thread and let us know!
