RIGHT !! This is doing my head in . . . . .

Whenever I start up the Game, no matter what save data i use (Master league etc) more often than not when the teams are in the tunnel the game freezes. The sound continues but the PS3 just stops. Only thing i can do is eject the disc then force shut it down. Then when i start it back up again it works, anybody else experience this ? Every other game i have is fine.

This happens to me all the time.  It's so frustrating.  Could they not patch this?

Funny, this used to happen A LOT in the early days, but I went back to the game recently (god know's why lol) and played master league without being connected online. Didn't crash ONCE. Then one day I forgot to turn off the connection and started a game and the game crashed, in the tunnel, as a notification of somebody coming online popped up. Now, I don't know if this was just coincidence or what, but I'd advise to play unconnected to PSN and see if that helps at all.

And as for Konami "patching" this game... LMAO

Yes i have the same problem, it' should have been patched ages ago.

Thanks for the replies, In a way its good to know that im not the only one having this problem but on the other hand i think it shows why Konamis title is falling behind Fifa, surely there pes site is full of people with the same problem as me and you think they would address it ???

Im seriously thinking about giving Fifa a whirl next season

Atleast I'm not the only one l everytime it happens I pull the disk out, no marks or anything and wonder if its the PS3, but thankfully not .

Not really, I succumbed to FIFA eventually, sure it's online mode works great, but the gameplay is soulless, and the CPU AI use the most irritating, cheating form of rubberbanding BS I've ever seen. Tbh honest this year both games are nothing special, but PES2010's master league mode is the one thing I keep coming back to it for, FIFA's Manager Mode is a pile of poo.

yeah this tunnel freezing happens to me all the time as well, its doing my head in
