CodemastersRacing has revealed a Kart style official F1 racer, being released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC this November.

F1 RACE STARS will deliver formula fun on every straight, hairpin, jump and loop-the-loop with super-fast racing and a range of power-ups for players to collect and deploy as they sprint for the chequered flag ahead of their rivals.

F1 RACE STARS will take players on a world tour of iconic FORMULA ONE locations, including Monaco, Silverstone and the new Circuit of Americas in Austin, Texas, recreated as fantastical racing circuits built for speed and wheel-to-wheel competition. Friends and family can share the fun too; F1 RACE STARS will deliver 4-player split-screen racing and 12-player competition alongside an extensive career mode featuring a number of Championships.

wow, this looks so cute and fun! surprised its never really been done before with F1 drivers. tis like Wipeout mixed with Mario Kart lol. im hoping for some anti-gravity Rollcage type driving-on-ceilings-action thrown in there too .

Confirmed in an interview by ign. Though it will based on teams not drivers. Ferrari may have an ability to shoot missiles backwards, another team can lay 3 mines instead of 1, another has triple boost as opposed to single etc. though they didn't specify which teams can do what, apart from ferrari

Does anyone know when we are going to get a trailer with some actual gameplay and different tracks on it, to get a good feel for it.

If not Gamescon, check out a guy called TeamVVV on YouTube. He's a journalist for most racing games across all consoles. He does a lot of features on F1 as well, and he's pretty update to date
