Team improvement in career mode

I started my career with Lotus (Expert level), got an offer mid season and I'm wondering is the team going to keep the improvements it has made for the next season if I stay with them? Is the car going to keep on improving to the point where it can race Ferraris and rest of top teams?

Where can I find team improvements anyway? I'm in third race now.

Every now and then the team will set certain time goal which you will need to accept from the menu on your right side (same menu where the quick set-ups are).

Re: Team improvement in career mode

From what i've seen so far the car will keep the improvements made in the first season and keep adding additional parts but it probably won't reach the point where you can compete with the top teams. It will probably get to Renault standard at a guess.

You're best waiting for an offer from a bigger team and working your way up. :smileytongue:

Re: Team improvement in career mode

You need to redo R&R at the start of each season, they don't carry over but the base car is improved, I'm in second season with Lotus and competing ok, on difficulty just below exoert and won the first 3 races from 3 but my teammate is still way down, but is slightly higher up in quali than season before, been in Q3 once getting 16th and had a finish in 12th (no pit bug to my knowledge for that either)
It takes time but i think the cars performance does slighltly improve (bear in mind the other cars on the grid will be improving too)
