Thomas from Fanatec has released an update to the situation.
GT Sport has been released and it works great with the Fanatec CSL Elite Racing Wheel. Due to time constraints, Polyphony was not yet able to fully implement our wheel in the controller options menu but you can enjoy full force feedback and support for the rev lights and the ClubSport Shifter if you install the latest firmware 293 on your wheel.
This firmware has a revised compatibility mode which now adds compatibility to:
Polyphony assured us that they will fully implement our wheel and that they are working on it. In the meantime you can already enjoy the game with the compatibility mode.
Please let us know your preferred Tuning settings for the new games."
I believe it works now via the Purple mode on the wheel.
Have you read PD's website for information yet??
Perhaps ask them through Twitter, Facebook or any other Media that they put out.
There might be a list of compatible products out there somewhere, just need to dig for it... or go straight to the Horses mouth - PD themselves.
It's a good question, but my guess would be "No".
To my knowledge the only official PS4 compatible Fanatec wheel is the CSL Elite.
Interesting that the Fanatec website says it will play on "some PS4 games".
So perhaps it will fire up but you'll need the DS4 to navigate menus.
We'll need to wait until closer to release for an official supported wheel list.
But my suspicion is that the GT2 wheel wouldn't be on that list anyway, regardless of whether you can get the wheel to work or not.
I could also add that it's been mentioned that PD "plan to continue supporting PS3 wheels", but I haven't heard any talk like that for over 12 months now.
In the end, only time will tell.
If you must continue with an older wheel, then your best bet would be to track down the various PS4 wheel adapters, to see if any support your wheel model. I know the CronusMax works well (so should the version 2), but there are others. YMMV
Hello gt team
I ordered GT Sport for PS4
But the standard version I bought is not in the ps store
And between my pre-order games
This is my PSN profile - https://my.playstation.com/okanbaskin
I would be glad if you help
No GT Team here, just regular Game Players.
This is just a Gaming Community for Sony.
Give us more details of the problem and someone within the Forum might be able to help a little.
Where did you pre-order it from and when?
If you pre-ordered the game on the PlayStation Store last year. Then pre-orders were cancelled in August of last year when the game was delayed to this year. If you were charged for the game, then a refund should have been issued. If there wasn't a refund, then you will need to contact Customer Service.
If however there was no charge when you pre-ordered from the PlayStation Store, then you will need to pre-order again. Either the GT Sport Bundle, which is the Standard Version with pre-order bonus. Or the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Last year i bought winter time from psn store
Example, for example, pre-order fifa18 appears in the library section
Like 50 days left
But I can not see gran turismo in the library either
There are 3 types in PSN
Deluxe and super deluxe
Deluxe and super deluxe psn store, but what I bought is not among the salespeople, ie the standard version
But I do not have it in my library, it's like
Will there be a link that I can communicate with the producer company ..?
Does this US link work for you?

I have passed on the Fanatec wheel support suggestion to the team (and other feedback left in the forum too!). I am on the forum but spend my forum time collecting and sending feedback instead of joining in.
Can someone please verify if is GT sport is Implementing Fanatec CSL Elite now or in later stage or not?
If not i want to cancel my pre-order and ask a refund.
It's my understanding that the Fanatec CSL Elite will be compatible with GT Sport on launch. If not, it will be soon after. I do know that Fanatec and PD have been working with eachother very closely to get it working.
Will try get an official response.
Thanks for the quick reply.
As long as they will implement it it's ok but i want really to know before the official launch otherwise i have a expensive game i can't sell nor play properly. that would be a real shame and frankly a d*ckass move from playstation against a large community which bought this wheel with priority for playing the long awaited GT-sport. I Very much hope they prove me wrong.. lets hope for the best. ;)
Regarding wheel support, the wheels currently officially supported are as below:
・ Guillemot Thrustmaster T-GT
・ Guillemot THRUSTMASTER T500 RS
・ Guillemot THRUSTMASTER T300 RS
・ Guillemot THRUSTMASTER T300RS GT Edition
・ Guillemot THRUSTMASTER T150 Force Feedback
・ Guillemot THRUSTMASTER T80 Racing Wheel
・ Logitech G29 Driving Force
For the Fanatec CSL Elite, Fanatec recognise the lack of compatibility and have made this statement:
Some of you might have tried the demo version of GT Sport which is online as of today.
Unfortunately, at this time it is not possible to select the CSL Elite Racing Wheel in the GT Sport controller options menu. Therefore players can’t enjoy some of the wheels advanced features in the game, such as Force Feedback.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused, and are working hard with our engineers and partners with the aim of rectifying this for the games launch. We will continue to update you and appreciate your patience."
There is no news from either SONY nor PD on this issue, but I wouldn't expect to hear much there anyway.
As for the older Porsche GT2 wheel, I have no news.
Don't think any other current Fanatec wheel will be accepted due to licensing restrictions.@Tassie_tiger
No support for Fanatec wheels? When I bought project cars 1 I bought the Fanatec CSW V2. Back then it was compatible with the PlayStation4. It also works with dirt rally. And now GT Sport will not work with Fanatec wheels? If so, bye bye PlayStation. who cares about customers when you can make more profit with other companies
gt sport demo cancelled. as the official fanatic PS4 elite wheel does not fully support gt sport. polyphony and Sony trying to get sales for thrustmaster. oh dear know less sales for polyphony and gt sport.
I think people need to do a bit of reading, to understand the situation. Coz yeah, the fact that PlayStation and Fanatec signed a new licensing deal this year, that allows their products to work on the platform, clearly means that PlayStation are only favouring one company? And the fact that Fanatec and PD have been working closely together on the SDK to have their wheel working on GT Sport as soon as possible, if not on launch. Must mean that there is no plans for Fanatec wheel to ever be supported?
I mean really. I think people need to have some patience and understanding. Read the facts that's been presented, before raging against the establishment. Just take a look at the GT Sport test demo as an example. Countless posts about how it's not working, they are getting a network error. Even though they've been told countless times it was a limited time test, with all the information posted in a number of locations a week in advance. Yet typically the important facts are ignored. Let's rage!
So the facts on the wheel situation:
So no conspiracies. No magic fix all switch.
