It appears that today is the day that sees an end to a media embargo, as the internet has been bombarded with new GT Sport videos over the last 24 hours with many journalists from around the globe posting YouTube videos on their latest experiences with the game.
I've selected a few videos highlighting some of the core features of GT Sport.
There are many more out there to be found though, so happy hunting.
But for now, here's a look at my chosen 3.
We get to see part of what the Campaign Mode, Livery Editor, and the Scapes section have to offer.
Inevitably the videos also show quite a few tracks and cars that at this point haven't been seen before.
So here we go.
Is the hype train dead? Reason I ask is because the information seems to be none existent as didn't they say they would be doing more info releases in Sept and Oct up to the release or have PD realized that they made a mistake leaving the heart of what Gran Turismo is, the single-player experience where you can chill and just enjoy without having someone ram you, also before you say it... this is GT7 its just that they have gone the same way with every other game release and not put a number just a word.
Missions for what I have experienced hands on are just glorified licences "offline content" but I guess we will find out more on release.
You can choose to race in Private Lobbies... so, that gets rid of the people that ram - the only downside is that you race against people you know all the time... which racing is not really about.. the challenge is from new faces. There is fun in a closed network of friends, but the real challenge is from a stranger, where you don''t know their strengths or weaknesses.
Will this game meet all the hype.. perhaps, but not long to know for sure.
Has the game still been developing since the Beta close... probably YES.
Will it be a better Game.... hope so.
Tokyo Game Show next week might offer up something new.
GT Sport will be there, and they are doing the live race on stage again as they have done before.
But we'll wait and see.
I hear rumours of a Zagato (and possibly Porsche) VGT in the wings.
We still have a track or two, and some cars to be shown/revealed.
But otherwise it will probably be just small clips here and there on social media.
Unless this second "beta" comes to pass of course.
The new McLaren Ultimate Vision Gran Turismo. Please mop up your drool.
Many GT fans are going to need a huge supply of tissues to mop up the drooling that GT Sport is going to cause. That Motor is looking like it might just empty the shelves!!
Bring it on...
That came out of nowhere.
I like it when unannounced manufacturers suddenly land on the scene with a new VGT.
Here's the video.
Here's some footage from the Tokyo Game show held last week.
I believe they held a competition, and the top 4 drivers faced off in a race.
I think the race is held in Sport mode, as it has the broadcast feature of replays during live racing.
The race is run at Suzuka, and our best look at the circuit so far.
And one of the drivers is driving the latest addition to the car list, a Porsche 911 RSR '17.
The race starts at around 18 minutes into the video.
Inside Gran Turismo Sport Vol 1: Cars
How dare they drive with my Number... get that Number off that Car... It's mine.
29 has always been my Number.. it's my Lucky Roulette Number.@RenegadeXtreme
Love this video explaining the car categories.
It's very well done.
Looking forward to see what may (or may not) come in future volumes.
Yeah I agree. Really like this style of video.@Tassie_tiger
I know this isn't really GT Sport. But it's still cool to see a car from the Gran Turismo series, in the new Justice League film
Batmobile Class LOL
Dibs for one of the lush Driving Seats when they crash it!!!@RenegadeXtreme
Just seen there are 1017 👀scape locations, pretty sweet and will make for some awesome art and PS4 themes!
A good video from Digital Foundry
Looking at the preorder avatars there one more for brand central: Fittipaldi motors!
