Welcome to the Tuning Garage.
Whether you wish to share a tune, request a tune, or simply ask some questions, this thread will be your one stop shop.
And without any further ado, I'll start things off with one of mine.
I decided to have a go at the current Sport Mode Gr.4 race.
I noticed everyone was in a GT-R or Scirocco, so of course I went for something different.
My basic plan of attack was to get a few cars and run them stock around the track.
Which ever car seemed to handle okay and was quick time-wise compared to the others came out on top.
And for me the winner was the Audi TT.
So I spent a reasonable amount of time in Sport Mode Qualifying mode, trying to adjust the car and better my lap times.
Once I was happy that I had a reasonably quick car, I went racing.
I continued to adjust the tune during the periods between races, until I ended up with what I think is quite a fast car.
I have run a 1:41.9 in Qualifying, so that has given me plenty of poles or high grid positions.
Apparently it's good for a 1:41.6 should I hook up all the sectors in one lap.
And for a, let's say, perhaps better than your average Joe driver, but certainly no "alien", that's a pretty good result.
So that tells me it must be a reasonable tune.
Bear in mind this car is front wheel drive.
And it's a shocker for hooking up and accelerating in low gears.
Also bear in mind that this tune was done by me using a wheel.
How it translates to a controller is unknown.
Anyway, enough waffling.
Here's my Audi TT Gr.4 tune for Kyoto.
*(For the gears, simply do it in the order down the page - eg set Max. Speed, then each gear, then Final)
Fair point, but I still can't get the gear ratios down. Never mind. And thank you.
How do you adjust the attributes of a car locked because of the (BOP) balance of performance adjustments?? I have never seen this available online and I don't even bother tuning cars because I have to normally deal with cars with huge understeer and whip oversteer in the sport mode races.
Hi, some food advice here thanks, I'm looking for a tune on my f40 running on sports soft if anyone has any good experience with this motor.
I need a setup for Aston Martin V12 for Suzuka.
Can anyone help me ?
Where do you guys download your decals. I only have Rolex. I'd some more and every pic I try to download is over 15ko.
Thank you !
I need a tune on a Mazda gr3 .basic good for bout any track.thanks
Does anyone have a good set up for the TS050 Hybrid around Dragon Trail at all?
thought I would present my "grind"-setup. For the Blue Moon Bay oval.
It does have a wee bit more tyre noise in the corners than I like, but I can't seem to be able to dial it out. Perhaps it isn't possible without aero. Either way, it's a fairly stable setup, and fast.
First off I would like to thank @phil-mac57 for shining a light on the KTM X-bow.
Did a whole lot of laps to get something useful, and here's what I came up with.
As you can see, it is most certainly quick enough to beat the LaFerrari. But be warned, this setup does have a tendency to oversteer in T3, the sooner you can catch and correct it the faster your lap times will be. Good luck and enjoy.
Yeah this guy posted a vid weeks ago. Got ignored though 😬
That is a very strange setup. I'm not sure that is driveable without the electronic driving aids turned on. But I will give it a go for sure. Maybe use the gearbox settings. Who knows.@el-ve
Good fun, reasonably stable. Still has a tendency to overrotate in T3 but it's a lot easier to catch now. Oh, and don't ask me why it works, I don't know, it just does.
hi guys im looking for a good tune for the subaru gr4 cant seem to find any for this car
I might have a look at it for you.
But it will be another week before I get the chance.
If I can figure out how to post the setting sheets I am happy to share some of the really good tunes that I like.
I have a Mustang that drives like it is on rails and a 911 that is super fast and handles like a dream.
Yes please, that would be much appriciated.@phil-mac57
I do all of my testing on the Blue Moon Oval so the settings I put up here may not always work on every track.
That said feel free to try my settings and tweak them to suit your driving style.
