I'll just post my thoughts here:
I have a great idea to enrich GT Sports. A salt flat track where you can drag with your friends or test the max speed of your car and settings. Line up the max allowed number of cars and adjust the max length of the track manually with an option to make it endless or at least make it feel that way.
Yes, totally agree. Earning money to tune a car gave the game more purpose, and felt more involving as you say. Was great to learn more about the parts amd how they affected things, learnt a huge amount from GT over the years.
GTS is a bit 'dumb' in comparison.@fiore1213
Little things like your car getting dirty after few races and changing oil, made it so great@ChannonJ
I miss so much GT Auto, as i miss B-spec and the option to qualify before race
Gran Turismo was so far the better Simulator i've been playing since 90's
I Can NOT get how polyphony turn it in this trash
It's a Shame
They need to fix the A.I. how faster possible
GT SPORT uses the worst a.i. ever
Bring back all classics tracks
Also B-SPEC, Dynamic Time and Wheather Progress, Track Maker
Personally I think the A.I. has improved a lot but better A.I. is always good ofc.
All classic tracks... Yes why not!
Dynamic Time and Weather
Track Maker?? Leave something for GT 10 I'd say@FelipePagR
The A.I. had a good improvement in interaction with others A.I. cars. But againt the player controlled car its bad, its simply ignore us. Any brake point they hit me ¬¬ they go straight in your back how you are not there ¬¬
In the previsiously GTs the a.i. avoid accidents pushing the out of the perfect drive line as we do. I'm missing it in this GT :/
I need Circuit de la Sarthe in my life with shicanes and without
Pretty sure that Track will appear at some stage or why have the Le Mans cars in the game.
Give 'em time to get it ready.
Absolutely. Amongst other tracks. I'm really missing Sarthe, especially with so many LMP cars in the game. Doesn't make sense to have those cars but not Sarthe.
Put in steering wheel settings so I can set the wheel as I like..a driving game with out steering wheel setting what a joke
I know the options aren't too detailed, but you can edit all the buttons through options, and also amend sensitivity and resistance while you are in a race - you'll need to pause the game while on track and go through options there. Not as comprehensive as you might want (I'm assuming you haven't seen the sensitivity and resistance settings?) but they do make a difference. I bumped mine up a little and does feel better to drive, better feedback etc.@andyparks
Dude, I have some good simple ideas of mine:
1) Add our favourite scapes and replays maybe to our home screen.
This would bring more customization to the game and would make the Discover mode more enjoyable, as you would be on the lookout for the goods. This also helps getting the Scapes Achievements;
2) Choose your downloaded Liveries to be used in AI cars on Single Player mode.
Come on, this would be awesome. Since the old days we get the same AI colors and liveries, just imagine it, even if it takes a little more to load everything. Some of us like the more tuning paints and stuff, that's why I put the "Choose" part of it. This would also help to get the Achievements as previously.
3) DEFINETLY being able to show the MFD only on the HUD.
I really enjoy playing with no HUD because of the better FOV and immersion it adds to the game. Personally the driver's list and split times ruins night races, cause the spotlights are on the outside zone of the screen. We had an option on GT6 to set the Driver's List to off. For this to be perfect would be cool to add the tyres screen to the MFD. In general being able to dismantle the HUD lol
I second motion nr 3 ... The only reason I leave the HUD on is to be able to check fuel consumption and tyre wear in "endurance" races.@FeeDeedo
yeah, right? adds a totally different meaning to the game, I do find endurance races way more fun! it would be like being able to scroll the HUD on the steering wheel. some cars lack informations on the dash, like fuel, position or even red rev indication.@Malipiero1
One of the reasons I like Project Cars and Assetto Corsa is the fact that with many cars in those games you have the possibility to cycle through the different screens on the steering-wheels with a digital display, and, more importantly, the info on those screens actually changes in real time. A big contrast with GT Sport where only gear, speed and rev indicators change on the digital display, all the rest just stays the same all the time.
- remember the setting that you prefer to sort your cars in your garage.
- able to view friends garage/collection.
- test drive other players cars especially because of the car settings and being able to inspect/copy them.
Changes I'd like to make GT Sport (more) enjoyable.
1. Tracks. Silverstone, Laguna Seca, Circuit de La Sarthe. At the very least. If I could pick freely I would also like Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Watkins Glen, Daytona Road Course, Dubai Autodrome, Autodromo do Algarve and Imola. Just my personal favorites.
2. Interiors. If a car has electronic steering wheel, it should work. It annoys me every time, that all the indicators stay the same. Especially if they have live timing, then it should work. Also, I can't help but feel the adjustment options for interiors are too constrained to be really useful. The Ferrari la Ferrari springs to mind.
3. Adjustments when racing AI. I would like to be able to set tyre options for the AI cars. Also perhaps change how the AI reacts when getting lapped. Some times it behaves quite stange when it happens. Oh, and perhaps be able to control how agressive it is.
4. Open wheel racers. The FIA series cars, the F4 and F3 mainly, perhaps Formula Ford/1600.
To further expand the fine tuning of the 'Scapes' mode, it would be great if the Shutter Speed option in Camera Settings could be set to as much as 5-10 seconds.
You know those iconic light trail photos you sometimes see? They're not possible to execute without a shutter speed of several seconds. Thanks to the ISO (i.e. EV correction) and Aperture options all that's missing to pull these off is a much slower shutter speed.
If anyone from Sony/GTSport reads this.. can you fix the timing loop for this track.
Unrealistic that it starts after you exit the cone area at the entrance of the track.. and ends there too!
You have to slow down and go through the gate area which is unrealistic, to finish your lap.
I got to run the Ring last year when I picked up my BMW in Munich.. amazing event. Bucket List!
So I like doing the Ring on GTSport. But like I stated, it's unrealistic with regards to where the timing starts/ends.
I started my lap timer after getting out of the cone area, and stopped in just before I exited the track and went back into the parking lot.
You can not just drive through the gates like you depicit it on your game.
It really should start right after the cones, and end right before the barrier and entrance back into the parkinglot area.
PS> Miss all the cars you had in the older game. Had a Pontiac Trans Am.. would love to see old cars like those~
Disqualification for multiple contacts in races. Banishment periods for multiple disqualifications from online racing. Eventually banning grand theft auto drivers from gran turismo online racing.
This is totally off topic, but I have the thrustmaster T150, and for some odd reason the clutch randomly became the gas. And the gas became the clutch. Had anyone had this issue or is this just me. Please help me with this because it's super annoying.
