@Yaster Awesome! :smileyvery-happy: It's a really good game!

@Envisager From playing the single player you sometimes have a few songs that use the Guitar and the DJ. It worked very well I found with the AI so I am sure it will be great with a real person playing :smileyhappy:

Now then, for forum events for this game I have 2 idea's

  • Tournament - Get 32 players that play 1v1, loser get knocked out until there is an eventual winner

or

  • Song Challenge - I pick a song and Difficulty setting and everyone has a week to get their best score on it, taking a photo as evidence.

Any preferences?

Agree with others here this game is a breath of fresh air in the old "odd shaped controllers" genre.

Re: The DJ Hero thread!

has anyone else found the crossfader loosens up and gets better after about 3 hours of initial play. I founds it quiet imprecise to start with but last nite i nailed eninem vs jayz on hard and the crossfader was AWESOME... god i love this game and the freedom it gives with the red button and dial.. true greatness....

Re: The DJ Hero thread!

Sounds like the Song Challange is going to be the one!

As for the crossfader, I prefer them loose in real life, in fact used switch cleaner to losen them up a bit when buying new mixers back in the day XD

DJ Community ftw (oh and EG community, they rawk too!)

Re: The DJ Hero thread!

been playing this most of the weekend, add me if anyone wants to play online..
i find expert is far more challenging and interesting to play, as it requires you to scratch much more precicesly... can be hard at times, and the scratch perverts 'noisia' mix is insane!

Re: The DJ Hero thread!

Just had a lot of the department crowding round me while playing this, shame I was on the ole headphones as you really need to hear it to enjoy watching it.

Like it so far.  I'm playing on medium (as I do on GH) but I think even I need to bump that up a bit as I could be doing with being challenged more.  But then again I am still right at the start.

Looking forward to trying at home with my 5.1 headphones.

I've tried a couple on hard but gave up after a shambolic performence.I think I'll stick to medium for a while until build up my skills.

Agree with others on here about the crossfader though. At first couldnt get it right for toffee but towards the end of the setlists can use with really well now. LIke GH this game actually has a learning curve which is good

One thing that Iam finding hard to get the hang off though is the Eurphoria and the auto crossfader with that as it tends to be off sync when the eurphoria runs out sometime ruining your streak. I now just treat it as normal when eurphoria on but would be nice to have a disable function. for myself anyway

SPLITTERS!!
