I'm sorry but I just dont get these silly music games.

it seems to be they are all just like the old game 'Simon' from 1978.

It's not as simple as that though, you kind of mentally tune into the song, and your physical movements follow the song - kind of like dancing, sounds stupid but the only way I can describe it. It's just satisfying following the song and interacting with it.

However, I'm totally fed up with guitar hero now, it's soo soul-less. I think I played it too much!

@Palnyboi, thanks for the info :smileyhappy: I think you've persuaded me!

I agree with that! When I am playing DJ Hero I am glad no one is around watching me... I really do get into the hole dance scene LOL :smileyvery-happy:

I only go on Guitar Hero now to play Drums as I found the drums very cool as you actually had to work to play them, as technically it was like playing real drums. I found that fun, but not been on the guitar for ages now!

Hope to see you soon on DJ Hero :smileyhappy:

Thanks for the Kudos by the way!

Re: The DJ Hero thread!

I was always curious about Beatmania on the PS2 (and arcade) but never got it. the tracklist in this though contains some tunes/artists I love so it's getting extremelly tempting. Now where can I hide the peripheral? :smileysad:

Re: The DJ Hero thread!

All I can say is THIS GAME IS FANTASTIC!! Although my right arm doesn't agree, Rockit really gave me some jip due to its massively long scratching parts but I love that track though so worth it though just like the scratch perverts track/mixes as I got into early hip hop through tracks like Rockit, Planet Rock etc as I liked the synthesiser bands of the early 80's which then progressed into EDM in the late 80's/early 90's. So hopefully there will be more DLC of the dance music genre soon as that's what I mainly like now though some of the hip hop/ pop/dance mashups are damned good. I'm up for playing online too.

Re: The DJ Hero thread!

Agree with others here this game is a breath of fresh air in the old "odd shaped controllers" genre.

See a couple of you have mentioned about having some sort of tourney going on. Count me in
