Any one help with my problem I'm playing online in my ps3 every day since one year ago but before 3 days ago the online dosen't work but the browser in ps3 works fine!!!! when I make connection statues it said that the network faild and give me this error code ( 80028e02) . but... some times the ps3 network works fine when I close my ps3 and open it again I couldent inter ps3 network again...
Any one help.!!!!!

The error code 80028E02 indicates the connection to the server timed out.
The feedback is that this can happen when connecting to an ISP that requires the user to sign in with a username and password via the browser before being able to connect.
The recommendation if this is the case is to open the internet browser on the system and see if there a message from your ISP or a log in page (then follow the instructions from here). This is unrelated to the PlayStation Account login, so you would need to call the ISP if you were not sure of the details.
This may not necessarily relate to everyone, but the indication is that the connection is being impeded, so the process of connection fails.

Have you tried resetting your router or modem? Turn it off at the mains, wait 30seconds and turn back on again. Cures a multitude of errors.

I'm from yemen and i know someone else here which have the same problem but no solution
me too i have the same problem and im from Yemen.
looks like yemmen net has done something to prevent us from playing online.
before a week i called yemen net and they said they dont know anything about this error.
and i asked them if they have made some changes to the network, and they said we didnt do anything.
then i googled this error and someone said if u changed ur modem it will work fine, so i did change my modem from SpeedTouch to D-Link and the problem still exist.
from what i have read the problem is caused by one of these 3 things:
3-ISP. which in Yemen is the Yemennet (the only internet service provider in yemen)

Whatever your ISP says the common thread here is them. If it is indeed an ISP problem changing the gaming system you are using is unlikely to do anything other than get you to spend more money. I would try talking to your ISP again, seems like they have done something to they way the network interacts with outside servers.
i think im going to them, not just calling them again.
some say that if u change the MTU to 1492 it will work, which i did but no use.
maybe i can try to use MTU from 1400 to 1500, maybe one of them may work.
i'll try and see if it work or not.

It only works from 6:00Pm to 10Pm,its really frustrating.i wanna go beat the hell out of who work in yemen net,even though they act like they did nothing to the PSN here.Sony please do so something fast!!!

today i went to yemen net and told them about the problem, also no use.

for me it works from 4:30pm untill 2am, what a strange error!!
and i dont think that sony can do anything about this.

i just want to tell every yemeni ps3 owner to call yemennet and tell them about the problem, maybe this will make them look seriously to the problem and do something about it.

yeah man i live sana'a too,im crazy of playing online and wallah i swear to god i called yemennet more than 3 times and wallah they said nothing happend and they acted like they have no idea at all..they said its not our problems i even asked if they did any updates lately they said no..wallah i guess yemennet wont do anything to us except if sony playstation it self help us then that time everything will go fine...but from yemen net no hope.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont know why i got feelings this problem started to come out after i updated the latest 3.55
because after i downloaded the 3.55 version and my ps3 started to have psn problems..maybe sony need to sony need to come out with a new update to fix this problem here in yemen..hopefully that someone from sony playstation could hear us and help us as soon as possible ..please we need helpppppppppppppppp ..
