Hey guys, any of ye forget the DOB for your account?
Made your account without thinking of what information you put in etc?
Well here is how to find the date of birth for your account(only works if you have a iDevise)
IDevise such as an ipad, ipod touch, iphone etc.
So if you ever forget your password or something like that again, you will have the Date Of Birth(DOB) for the account, to help you get your account back.
Need anymore help with this, leave a comment here and i'll get back to you hopefully.
Yeah but, you can't find out your DOB it's as simple as that, and if people don't bother reading threads due to their own ignorance, and ask the same question that's been answered numerous times in this thread, then they're gonna get an equally annoying and ignorant response@chevydigameman10
When creating the account, you agree that your details are correct, therefore saying he’s used the correct DOB. This can be found on a birth certificate.
As for fake DOB, that would’ve been answered multiple on each page of the thread (and many other threads). So yes, an answer like will be given@chevydigameman10
Then they we're most likely trying to circumvent the terms and conditions as clearly set out by PlayStation. So are we to feel sorry for them?
I can see you are not a long term/regular user, believe me after being a member of the forum for long as I have these threads will materialise every so often with the same reason and excuses and answers. At this point when the in the thread it's been answered several times, it's our turn to give answers like that because the users are clearly not reading the terms and conditions nor the correct answers in the thread.
Had they followed the correct procedure they wouldn't need to ask the question.
So what can be done? Well they can contact Customer Support and explain but end of the day when you sign up to a service there is small print, if you're choosing to ignore then you run the risk.
They're a bunch of sessA mate.. I'm sorry@goyoyo123
If you were sensible when making up your DOB you might have put your actual date and month but changed the year to make you 18.
Did you do that? Or 1st of Jan of whatever year.
If you just put a random one you have no chance.
The T&C's are most specific in what it tells us... You are supposed to read them, but many just scroll through the whole wall of text until reaching the "Agree" button.
Whilst making a PSN Account, you have all the information needed to create an Account successfully, it will ask you if you are happy with the ID Name as this cannot be changed.
As for DOB.... here is an image (done in English)...
It clearly states, that you must use accurate information.
Kids break this Rule and expect a happy outcome, when they run into problems...
The T&C's state that making Accounts with false information can be banned, had they read those T&C's.
On occasions, Sony ask for photographic evidence of a DOB...
How do you provide this with a false DOB??
You won't have the Driving License or Passport details of this false DOB.
Personally, I don't care if a kid chooses to ignore the DOB, they are the ones running the risk of loosing their Accounts, loosing all their purchased games, Trophies and Game Saves. Makes no difference to me.
The only thing that I do object to, is having whining kids in audio chat rooms within adult games, where they shouldn't be in the first place... Kids should not ruin my adult game play with their constant bad language and attitude.
If this sounds harsh, we'll... This is Life...
Had two 12 year old boy in a call off duty match this week. No way they were 18. Then just screeching all the way through.@S2N-Ava
Squeakers LOL PSML
Can you imagine them calling Customer Support...
Would imagine it going somewhat like this.....
CS.. Hello, how can we help you today??
Squeaker.. Hi, I got a problem with my Account
CS.. Can I have your DOB please
Squeaker.. Yes.. It's 05/07/1998
CS.. Can you confirm that again please
CS.. Oki Sir... Just so we can move forward, can you send a copy of your Driving License or Passport to us, as you don't sound over 18
CS.. We need to confirm that is your DOB
Squeaker.. That is beep beep beep beep problem
CS.. Sorry Sir, but we are only following the Rules
Squeaker.. Beep beep, you are beep takin' da beep
CS.. Talking to me like that won't help
Squeaker.. I don't give a beep, you beep beep
CS.. Slams down the phone
sadly that's probably exactly how it would go@S2N-Ava
Yes Indeedeeee..... Joe Pascal doesn't have problems@gavsta72
Last game someone was in a rave or something. Can't imagine that music was played in the trenches of WW2
Of course it don't work... DOB is a hidden feature once your PSN Account has been created.
DOB is part of the Security to your Account. If and when you need to call Support, they need this information to match what is recorded on file.
Sony can and do ask for photographic evidence of age... How can you supply this with using a false date?? There was a Thread the other day on this very subject... Sony asked for evidence, the Account holder sent this information, and of course, this did not match.. Sony banned the Account.
The simple solution is to make an Account with the correct information (as detailed in the Terms of Service).. that way you can make purchases etc and have the knowledge that if any problems occur in the future... your Account will be safe.. as you can always provide proof.
Ask your Mum and Dad surely they'll know.
I I tried looking on my iPhone but it didn’t show nothing about my account on the settings
It won't the PlayStation App has had multiple changes since 2011 when this topic was created.
Date of birth is a requirement and a security question without it your account is as good as gone.@Graffiti_boii52
It doesnt work for me. What do you mean by idevice
Can you not do it on android
