error 80028E02

After the new firmware ive been getting this error message "error 80028E02".

What is this for? Ive tryied unplugging my router, testing connection and everything. But it wont let me go online at all. And I know my connection is fine, cause it works on my computer with no problems.

Hi Rawanz,

 

This error code indicates that the connection with the server has timed out. Therefore there has been an issue connecting to your internet service provider- this can occur if your ISP requires you to sign into to your internet browser with a username or password first.

 

If this is the case, you can try doing this from the bowser on your PlayStation 3 (the login details are strictly those for the ISP).
