Bumping an old thread here but I had my iPod on shuffle and "blackout" came on.

Decided to give the album another go and its really grown on me very suddenly. At first a I thought the album was very hit and miss. Some good songs and a few poor songs and some instrumentals. But now the actual songs with vocals are all good. Loving "blackout"

I think if they made some of the instrumental songs into intro's for the songs with vocal on and then added some more songs it would be a better album imo.

The Requiem and The Radiance should be put together as one song as they are clearly two halves of the same coin. Or added into Burning Skies

Empty Spaces should be dropped  completely. Whats it there for. 18 seconds of soldiers marching and gun fire yet it counts as a track o

Jornada Del Muerto shouldn't of been included either

Wisdom, Justice and Love is just another song that should be an intro (for Iridescent) rather than a stand alone track. Same for Fallout though The Catalyst is already long enough. Don't mind it being a lengthy track but its very repetative.

I would of released the track listing as

1. Burning In The Skies (requiem/radiance as an intro)
2. When They Come For Me
3. Robot Boy
4. Waiting For The End
5. Blackout
6. Wretches and Kings
7. Irdescent (wisdom, justice and love as an intro on it or drop it entirely)
8. The Catalyst 
9. The Messenger 

Then added a few more of the songs they recorded during recording for the album. How they released that as a 15 track album is beyond me. Its 10 at a push if you count Requiem and radiance as one track separate from Burning In The skies. 

Its actually a really good album once you take out the 6 needles instrumentals.

Ive only just got into Linkin Park, can someone  recommend  me any songs? I have only listened to like 6 of there songs so far!

A Thousand Suns

Personally I think the first 3 albums are the best. A Thousand Suns has needles crap in it but if you take it out its a good album. Reanimation just puts gives an entirely different sound to Hybrid Theory.

There's also Collision Course which is more of an EP made with Jay Z but I've only heard Numb/Encore off it so I duno what the rest of it's like.

I really liked the album, and I don't care for all of the people who decide to give up on it altogether after one listen. I didn't like Waiting for the End until I listened to it multiple times, and now it is one of my favorites. I just hope that you people who listened to it once and gave up will give it another go.
