So what you do all you ladies and gents use for your listening pleasure?

When am at home i use my ipod touch 4G + ibasso t5 portable amp with my denon d2000's or my fiio e7 dac connected to my pc. And when am out i use my ultimate ears triplefi10 or my phone pfe122 depending on my mood!

Is the fiio e7 any good, looking to invest in one for when I'm working on my laptop?

When gaming I just use my Ipod connected to a guitar amp, I know its simple but it works and to a good sound quality.

For mixing I use some decent headphones that I own.

its alright for the price, better than my laptop sound card which is utter poo. It has a warmish sound signature with a punchy low end. You should look into the fiio E17 when its released in the uk which is the upgrade for the E7 and its meant to be much better. Its 150$, no idea how much in pounds.

yeah but you have to consider VAT and what not for the UK, so its always more expensive sadly.

Sennheiser headphones (obviously ) HD558 for in my room, CX150 with the iPod when out and about. Some times use my iPod through a Fender Frontman guitar amp both with and with out my HD558's. Looking to purchase a Fiio E10 USB desk top DAC/amp.

i would recomend you wait for the e17 as there is a comparison of it and the e10 from the same website and its meant to be better. Plus u can use if as a portable amp if you choose to do so.http://www.headfonia.com/the-upgrade-fiio-e17-alpen/

Thanks for that. Won't be using it on go so I will wait and see how much it will be on Amazon then buy the best priced
