Re: How Big is your itunes/media player libery

(Every season of South Park Available on iTunes)That was free right? Because if not you'll be kicking yourself because I read recently that every episode of South Park is going to be soon legally available on the internet for free.

They basically are already since the sites streaming and hosting SP episodes never get shut down because Stone and Parker are happy for them to exist.

It'd be nice if they put 'em all on Xbox Live Marketplace too. They already are all on the US Marketplace but you have to pay and be living in America.

Download and you'll find yourself listening to more interesting music.

I like to think my taste is varied  Enigma, Frank Zappa, The Shins, Smiths are all 'interesting'.

I'm really not sure Limewire is safe stuff... But, if you get/have Limewire just search Limewire Pro and download it from there :smileyhappy: Also, theres Frostwire, never used that.

7381 Tracks (duplicate free), 20.9 days continuous playback, 32.42gb

Also, theres Frostwire, never used that.
Frostwire is better than LW and LWPro in every way possible.
I use torrent sites (in particular Waffles, which is the spiritual successor to OiNK.cd), for album downloading and Frostwire to find single tracks.

Yeah, downloading songs really broadens your tastes. I wouldn't have heard of Disinterested until I downloaded a torrent of one of their albums. They're pretty amazing.

I'm not saying it's bad but it's still very mainstream.

Re: How Big is your itunes/media player libery

It's not the software that isn't safe really...it's the content you're downloading. Most P2P software is free of adware/spyware these days. Ares/Arez is quite a good one...although the newest version didn't seem to work too well =\. It does double up as a torrent client though. May I also recommend www.pandora.com Enter an artist you like, and it'll find other similar artists for your listening pleasure.

I wouldn't say a majority of my music is very mainstream not to the extent of crap like Arctic Monkeys (Sorry), of course bands like Arcade Fire and Radiohead who i love are very popular at the moment but half of my friends and people at my college havnt got a clue who starsailor, zappa, postal service, shins, jeff buckley or tokyo police club are. Your right about downloading though, when i used to use limewire id get into alot more bands. Now i just have to rely on last fm and youtube, its personal taste really i couldn't care less if Radiohead or Interpol are mainstream i still find their music to be ****ing brilliant.
