F1 teams' entire business plan rests on major sponsors - & maximum exposure thru TV - that just got a lot less - will they regret it?

why are we paying a TV license?
just shows money is the only thing that Bernie is interested in and not the fans of the sport. So the BBC has had to make "Cuts" why not cut the rubbish shows on BBC3 and such.
F1 will go down hill imo. kinda like it did when it went to ITV. but i guess we'll have to see.

As James has said if the viewers don't follow then could be in a bit of a dodgy position in regards to sponsors.

Twitter has gone nuts when it comes to this news. Pretty much everyone is ***** off at the BBC, SKY and Bernie. And after such a great show so far, it goes where no one wants it.

I won't be buying Sky Sports just to watch a few races. As someone on Twitter pointed out, it can work out to around £50 a race, when you consider half the races will be on the BBC anyway.

There is hardly any other sports I watch. Tennis and F1 are the main sports, as I can't stand football.

The BBC really need to look at what works and what is a load of rubbish. Eastenders for a start, who needs 5 episodes of that Trash a week and an Omnibus at the weekend. Why do people have video recorders again??

Then we have multiple Radio and TV stations, with untold amount of repeats. Get rid of most of the trash and produce what they are good at. Might mean we actually start getting some quality shows on tv.

F1 is one of the best things on BBC right now, and they get rid of most of it.

It's a real shame. I hope the teams can do something about it, because I think there will be millions of viewers not moving over to sky just for F1. I'm considering getting rid of most of my Virgin Subs anyway, as I don't have time to watch most of what is on there anyway, and much better things to spend the money on.

Freeview HD or Freesat HD will do for me.

I am not buying Sky just for half the F1 season. I would rather that ESPN had bought it just to annoy Sky.
