i know people will have a go at me for creating a topic about a seemingly needless subject but meh. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7156535.stm tbh i really like this idea. ray parlour did the same and i think it is fantastic that beckham is training with the arsenal first team a bit just to keep his fitness up. it seems like such a strange thing to happen but i really like the idea. i've always liked beckham as player and i hold him in such a high regard. i was disappointed that he never ended up signing for arsenal when all that speculation was about but i still think his presence in the training ground, however briefly, can hugely boost the confidence of our reserve players as well as our first team. i know he will most likely never ever play with arsenal but i'm happy he has a good relation with the club and that the club also holds him in high enough regard to allow him to train with the first team as well as the reserves.
